Responsibilities
Select, cut, bend, position and secure steel bars or wire mesh to reinforce concrete
Read blueprints & specifications to lay out work
Safely operate tools & equipment
Unload materials to access, relocate and/or hoist as needed
Direct crane operators with hand signals or radios

Strong communication, reading, numeracy & strong problem-solving skills
Ability to interpret blueprints & specifications
Very good muscular coordination, agility & balance
Willingness to work at various work sites

Grade 12 Diploma preferred (Grade 10 minimum)
Journeyperson Wage Rate
$46.30/Hr (2023 Provincial Average)
